The Hilton Washington Dulles Airport is centrally located just 30 minutes from downtown Washington DC and all the Rolling Thunder Washington DC events. Relax and take a dip in the indoor or outdoor pool or rejuvenate in the whirlpool. Spoil yourself with a delicious meal at the Old Ox Grille Restaurant, open for breakfast and lunch. Experience Old Virginia with a contemporary edge at The Cardinal Restaurant as you dine on excellent food, sip on a drink and enjoy a game on one of our seven flat-screen TVs.

Underground, Secure parking

The Rolling Thunder – Washington DC event occurs on the Sunday before Memorial Day, in which members make a slow ride on a closed off, pre-set route, called Ride to the Wall in Washington D.C., referring to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, also called the Ride for Freedom, which leaves the Pentagon parking lot at noon, crosses the Memorial Bridge, and ends at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Throughout the Rolling Thunder weekend, members and supporters spend time at the Thunder Alley (the official vendor site for the event) and visit significant areas of Washington D.C., particularly the numerous memorials, and hear speeches given by members, supporters, military officials and politicians.
